While it's true there's a lot of brown Israelis and the conflict isn't as simple as white vs brown, Israel, as founded, and as it's operated up until today is explicitly a settler colonial project and it's early proponents and founders openly recognized that reality. So it's not entirely a racial situation, it is one of colonization and apartheid.
