As I draw near to the end, though, it's really perplexing and actually kind of baffling how this game appears to be falling victim to the exact same stuff that made the original "the best 7/10 game ever." Like, I really just want to know wtf happened that they made the exact same mistakes on top of actually going backwards on some stuff like storage/equipment management being a straight up QoL downgrade from Dark Arisen. Yeeah it is kinda odd. I'd guess because of the huge time in-between the games?
