Bragg is prosecuting it as an election interference case because Trump was trying to cover up the Daniels affair from the American people as he was afraid it would come out during the election and had the story not been killed by the National Enquirer, whose head was working in coordination with Trump to buy and kill stories like this, it would have came out like 2 weeks or so before the election, which would surely have been close enough to the election in order to sway it. If I'm not mistaken this is how he got it bumped up to a felony instead of a civil case and what had so many legal analysts worrying and talking shit about the case for the longest time, as the documentation used to sentence Cohen has already been established and is the basis for holding Trump account for this crime, which would normally be less severe were it not for the angle of Trump suppressing the story from the American people to win the election.

The only thing incorrectly said by the poster you quoted is they said election fraud instead of election interference.
