im with ya there. My ex had a crazy controlling mother, with either full blown NPD or narcissistic traits at the very least, some of which may have extended over to my ex, who was probably a golden child. Some narcs tend to be incredibly good looking, as my ex was. But i also did not have a good marriage. The goal posts kept on being moved and she couldnt take no for an answer. So right now Im looking for someone more stable personality wise.

Then just aim for someone who is more like a 7. Seriously. They are much more likely to give you a stable relationship, and as I said, she will seem more attractive to you if things are going really well.
