I don't really think he has that kind of ambition and don't understand why you do. Putin is a dictator who kills or imprisons his political rivals. If he doesn't have that kind of ambition, why start with Ukraine? Let me tell you why. It is the largest former state of the former USSR that split off without UN protections. Why do you think Belarus is joining the attacks to Ukraine? Russia is bulling them saying if they don't help Russia, they are coming after them next.
