As a general rule of thumb, if Trump is saying something that's even slightly reasonable, he's lying through his teeth. If what he's saying is beyond insane, like how he wants to be a dictator, or how his administration is going to criminalize everyone who ever opposed him, he's telling the truth.

So, needless to say, I fully expect that if he manages to score a second term (and the odds of that happening are way too high for my liking, especially considering just how badly he fucked up the country in his previous term, both deliberately and through negligence), a federal total abortion ban bill will reach his desk before January 31st, and he'll rubber-stamp it without even a hint of complaint.
