Topic	TIL: Supposedly, Marvel's Venom was originally intended to be a woman.
Solar_Crimson 04/10/24 11:54:20 AM #1:	Reading the Executive Veto page on TVTropes (yeah, I know), and it has under the Venom section that originally, Venom was going to be a young woman who blamed Spider-Man for her husband being run over by a cab who was distracted by Spider-Man swinging overhead, which also led to her having a miscarriage. However, the editor vetoed this, because he believed that there was no way a woman could ever make for a threatening supervillain, and thus Eddie Brock was created in her place.
