YESTERDAY: So much discourse I didn't even get to read it all! I think it was Dragon Quest fanbase in-fighting which tracks for JRPG fans in general.

What really sucked for me is that by the point the DQ discourse had peaked, Mega Man 2 was so far ahead of DQ3 that it just felt like wasted effort. There was briefly a tie between Mega Man 2, DQ3 and Punch-Out with Duck Hunt not far behind, but it didn't last long.

In the last few votes Zelda, which had been trailing Mario 1 the whole topic by a single vote, FINALLY passed it to nab first place

really was vibing with the pre-topic hype for the SNES Rushmore. Get yourselves ready for some INTENSE JRPG DISCOURSE.
