That was kind of a stopped-clock-right-twice-a-day situation. What actually happened was that everybody already knew that UNRWA was dirty, and has been for decades. That's why so many countries, even those not especially sympathetic to Israel, immediately ceased funding without even waiting for proof. Didn't that seem weird?
