Actually it's just small enough in general to rule any team out of but in particular the champions of what 5 of the last 6. It's unfavorable of course by to say they would not have any chance if just flat out wrong.

Yes, technically they wouldnt be done, even with a loss. But I think trying to chase down 2 teams is a much tougher proposition. Arsenal are improved from last season and Liverpool are going to want to send Klopp away a winner. Meanwhile City are fighting injuries and while Pep will always motivate them, losing the league wouldnt be the end of the world for them.
