"I recall one episode where Povich should have received a well-deserved punch-in-the-mouth. A woman had told her daughter FOR FOURTEEN YEARS that a certain man was her father. The man expressed no hard feelings towards the young girl, but legitimately felt the girls mother had simply singled him out as a convenient answer to her daughters inquiries about who her father was, and he had informed the girl that he did not believe he was her father. Sure enough, the results were read, and the man was not the girls father. This caused her to break down in tears, causing low-life Povich to comfort her, while glaring angrily at the man. When the man sincerely stated that he was sorry the girl was upset, Povich responded contemptuously with something like, You should be upset!! Why, because he told the girl the truth while her scumbag mother had lied to her for fourteen years? Its time to throw the garbage to the shark, and his name is Maury Povich."
