(AKA S0 Sleep) If the PC is connected to the wall and it goes to sleep, Windows will record it as able and ready to do updates. Windows does not properly mark it as not ready if it's unplugged after putting it to sleep (which it should). You have to unplug first then put PC to sleep. Research if you can set your laptop to use the superior S3 sleep though and you never have to worry about that detail. --- We're surrounding you. We see you, but you probably don't see us.
