Most recently, Stellar Blade has been the subject of such criticism despite the games heroine being based off of a real life model. There's volumes of literature and research about the unreasonable (and often unhealthy) standards and expectations models and modeling set for media consumers. Stellar Blade might use a real woman, but she's not exactly a realistic woman to portray, and that's probably why it's caught so much flak.
