You have to be able to maintain it, which if you're homeless, good luck. There isn't too many jobs that don't involve customer interaction and they want you presentable.

On top of that, you pretty much have to do your best NOT to give away that you're homeless to get hired in most situations.

Who's to say he hasn't already applied to numerous locations? And then for them to turn their life around, they'd have to be more successful than your average wageslave(yours truly and his coworkers). Even for people who aren't homeless and working full-time, there's no stability in their lives because the current economic structure does not provide for it.
