Topic | Nfl approves new kickoff procedure |
Son_Of_Spam 03/26/24 5:29:29 PM #26: | I'm looking forward to it. We won't be getting touchbacks 90% of the time. And touchbacks weren't even safe anyway. By the time the returner took a knee guys were already colliding at full speed.
I also think it has potential to make kickoffs even more fun than before touchbacks became so common. It's practically the first play from scrimmage now, and I think it will leave more room for designed plays on kickoffs. And since it's safer teams might be more willing to use starters on special teams. I hate seeing dynamic returners like Tyreek Hill lose their job since they are too valuable on offense. --- 20 years on Gamefaqs, and I still don't have a signature. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
