I'm sure not only is the immediate aftermath going to be crippling for Baltimore, its port and transportation in general, but also the longterm environmental effects could be significant. I'm sure the NTSB will launch an investigation immediately. President Biden vowed to cover the expenses of rebuilding the bridge, but I can't imagine what the price tag would be, nor the timeframe involved. The sheer scope of that project seems pretty mind-boggling. I'm curious if the funds for this will come from the infrastructure act or what. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
