Didn't realize Scooby Doo dedicated many episodes to this couple, then that couple etc, even named episodes after romance and it was literally the main plot-point.

Like the whole premise of the show is she was born as the Slayer but tries to more or less be a normal girl who goes to school and falls in love and everything around it that happens is trying to balance these two competing ideas of existence. That IS the show.
