Topic | "I consciously add as much diversity as I can to my writing" |

no they don't they tell you that after you keep pestering them about their past... You literally say "Mizhena? That's an unusual name. I don't think I've heard it before." To which they say: "When I was born, my parents thought me a boy and raised me as such. In time, we all came to understand I was truly a woman. I created my new name from syllables of different languages. All have special meaning to me, it is the truest reflection of who I am." And your literal only response is "Thank you for sharing your story with me." It's bad writing in a series known for it's good writing, characters and dialogue choice. You know this, hence why you're lying about it. "Let's just insert some diversity we don't actually care about/have ideas for" has this risk of being half baked. Compare that dialogue to Bill from the Last of Us, a game not even known for it's writing and see the difference and obvious passion from the creators in the latter. --- ^ Hey now that's completely unfair! http://i.imgur.com/yPw05Ob.png ...
