The problem that Omega is so over the top dangerous that it's incomparable to anything else. It's like if a group of 30 million people had a one in a million chance to just randomly explode into a nuclear blast at any minute. There could be lessons of bigotry and hatred to be found in such a story, but it's just so over the top that it's hard to take seriously.

And I said there's nothing wrong checking omega level mutants. But the part I am talking about is how stuff can still parallel the real world.
Like kicking a family out of the house for being a mutant. Protesting the government to do something about mutants. The media portraying mutants in a poor light.
Yes this stuff still happens today in real life.
