Agreed. As much as I dislike the 4Kids censorship, the voice acting in the original DM dub was fantastic. Then again, that "censorship" also gave us the Shadow Realm, which actually sounds much worse than dying and made the show feel more hardcore by complete accident.

The whole "Never Say Die" trope is always hilarious to me. DBZ had a lot of instances of this too.

I remember Vegeta destroying a building and then openly lamenting the fact that since it was Sunday no people were there working -- pulling triple duty of letting us know that "it's okay, nobody actually died", letting us know just how much of a bastard Vegeta is at this point that he's sad he didn't manage to kill anybody, and leaving us with absolute incredulity as to how this alien dude with clearly no regard for humanity is somehow aware of the concept of "weekends" and how some people don't work on those days.
