I mean...I vote Democrat consistently and hate conservative policies, and I absolutely don't love these giant must-pass spending bills with who-knows-what tacked onto them because the people we elect to the legislative branch of the federal government can't seem to do their actual jobs. We never really know what's in them until they've passed, which means you can't apply pressure as a voter by contacting your representatives. In the rare instances where you can call or email or write in time, they often throw up their hands and say they can't do anything because these bills need to pass for the government to function.

I mean, it's good the government hasn't shut down, and it's great if they do put some good stuff in their, but these bills as a whole suck balls and shouldn't need to exist. They're undemocratic and a sign of a failing government.
