Yeah, the fridge will make the banana's skin brown faster but the inside will actually last longer. Regardless, whenever I buy bananas I:
1) Buy way too many.
2) End up eating a bunch or two in a short period of time to finish them before they go bad.

Sure, they refrigerate decently and even freeze well (especially if you're using them for smoothies or desserts), but I'd much rather eat them fresh.

To be fair, fruits have a lot of sugar. Sure it's "natural" (though selectively-bred for more sugar content), it's still a lot of sugar.
