You know, I had this kinda funny realization today about how animals are their own individuals. Ive got a bunch of turtles, all different kinds, so I guess I never really thought about it much. But then I got this new anole, and man, its nothing like my other one. My first anole was all about hanging on the glass and then hiding away, but this new dude? Hes just out there on the log all day, catching some rays. And get this, anoles are usually all about hiding, but not this fella. Hes cool with just chilling in the open, even lets grasshoppers hop on him and stuff. It just hit me, you know?

Each of these little critters has their own vibe, their own thing going on. Its not like us, but its definitely there. Made me appreciate my turtles even more. Like I always New Salt was coward, Mappy was lazy, and so on. But is just hit that these are their freaking personalities. And since a little anole as it I guess all animals do. Besides fish? Oscars are pretty much grumps, no matter which one you get.
