It's more an indictment of Trump (#92?) rather than praise of Bush. Trump is so horrible he makes fucking George W Bush seem lucid, articulate and somehow not quite as awful by comparison.

And don't forget the blood of Afghanis too, both the dead and the displaced.
And indirectly every casualty at the hands of Islamic State and the Syrian Civil War as a whole.
I'm talking about these posts:

If Bush didn't get tricked/lied to by Cheney and/or Rumsfeld, I wonder if he would have had a decent legacy. No way he decided to attack Iraq on his own.

I often wonder what W. thinks of all this. He seemed like a dumb easily manipulated and controlled frat boy who nepo babied his way into the white house, but didnt seem like a bad or evil person. Id actually be kinda surprised if he was down with Trump.

Bush also at least tries to give a shit about the American people. His response toward 9/11 was fairly uniting.

Compare that to Trump who said "Well I guess my building is the tallest now!" (It still wasn't). If he was president then, Muslim Americans would have actively been attacked by him.

He had agency as the literal President. He wasn't a fucking child.
