in the former, the entire scene goes still and quiet. the very air freezes. and the manga version of the latter demolishes the characterization of both characters involved. i could go on for hours about this i know i need to learn to set aside the expectations i have for manga to adhere that closely to the web comic. its clear that whatever is going on between ONE and murata, something me-flavored is getting lost in translation. the web comic is still preserving that tho why would someone whose shirt says "genius at work" etc etc --- My fate was the grandest, most brilliant of them all.
