At the time, it was the best Star Wars ever looked and sounded. The changes are irrelevant to me. It did omit some very nice behind the scenes stuff from the DVDs but it also added some nice new stuff. You can see all that all on YouTube anyway Only TPM had the biggest leap in quality from VHS/DVD >> bluray and the other 2 prequels look great too. It's the OT that's kinda ehhh mostly because of the first movie getting another a 2nd coat of overpaint that looks and sounds more jarring than it did back in 97. I mean you kinda reflect on it now in 2024 after seeing all these other remasters of old movies and feel like they really screwed the pooch again but that instance it's technical things (oversaturation, overcontrasting, weird sound mixing, etc).
