Its definitely gonna be sold to somebody like Musk who'll let alt right ideals flourish, liberal ones get drowned out by lies and bait posts but there's also another factor to this, America wants wants that sweet sweet data too and were mad that China gets so much of it thus the whole "It won't be banned if the American branch is sold to Americans" part kinda like how China has it's own heavily censored version of Tiktok. Politicians have yet again successfully banded together to scare people into accepting more freedom being taken away from them by scaring the hell out of them with threats of bad children, terrorists, pedophiles and hatred of the youth all together.
