Maybe you just need to get out of the capitalist bubble and realize you grew up in a country meant to manipulate you into being their slave. We only have the 40 hour work week because our country used to be so shitty and capitalist nut gobbling that children were working 16 hour days in factories for like 25c a day because it was necessary for the household to survive.
