It definitely is easy to believe it's just another wire-fu movie, but the neat twists and turns of the story, and itself being a fictious version of real historical characters and events was cool. Personally I was really into the color symbolism. And how so much of the visual storytelling really worked perfectly. Talking about other "wire-fu" movies, I definitely enjoyed it more than Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and House of Flying Daggers, which where the other two movies along those lines that came out around the same time. But I've got them all (and a few others) in my DVD collection - I've got a foreign film section in general, but the Asian martial arts film section is about a dozen or so deep alone. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
