Facebook/Twitter/Youtube promote right-wing terrorism because it makes them money.

TikTok is controlled by the Chinese government which is factually a hostile state towards Western countries. Anything Tiktok does has to be seen through that lens.

That's the difference. You basically have social media companies ruining the world because of capitalism or political warfare. Then the capitalist sites promote Russian trolls because it makes them money.

American sites will never be reigned in because Western politicians love capitalism. If Tiktok is sold to Western owners then it probably won't promote youth crime as much but it will just mostly promote right-wing terrorism and sedition because that is the easiest way for social media to make money.
