Yeah, but in this case it was weird because of the scam. The seller provided a tracking number that was a real UPS number for my town so it showed as delivered. It also showed that the item was 9 pounds when it was an 8 ounce item. Other recent feedback started popping up for the seller saying they were also scammed. The account was a few years old with 100% positive before that. So ebay's automated system sided with the seller at first since their fake number said delivered. The case was closed almost instantly and I had to open a new one which wasn't easy. I had to get an email from UPS to verify that it wasn't a tracking number for my address (they won't give you the actual address). Then I got refunded by ebay. That's a rare example of how it can be a pain, but you'll still get your money back. --- This is where cool people write stuff. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
