If the last few years was Marvel being risky what are the safe movies supposed to be To be fair, they did take some legitimate risks. The eternals director had only ever worked on small character dramas. The marvels attempted to tie two TV properties into a movie franchise. They had plans for all sort of side characters spin-off movies like echo, ironheart, and agatha. I'm guessing safe movies here means hiring directors that just do as they're told to make action movies centered on the characters that have traditionally been the biggest selling properties. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
