Apparently that was a pretty big critique from a lot of people, to the point that Emma had to address it in interviews. The reason she gave for why the movie shouldn't be viewed that way is the whole thing is a metaphor and shouldn't be taken literally. That's what she actually said. I haven't watched it yet though...I've always looked at Black Comedies as using really fucked up situations to be funny. --- Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple Dictator of Nice Guys ...
