Dreamworks probably didn't have any confidence in the movie. Heck, I know a lot of people didn't even know the movie came out because it was barely marketed. But yeah the movie felt pointless. The worst part is that the president of Dreamworks says there is going to be 2 more Kung Fu Panda movies coming out and if this is the best they got, I'm not looking forward to them. I just feel this movie misses the mark why the trilogy is so highly praised.DreamWorks probably put all the marketing for the movie into that Superbowl ad. Which was mid, too.
