Feels weird not going to visit him today. Sundays are when I usually go to spend a few hours with him, take him coffee+donuts, and just spend time with him. Neither of us talk really - just sit there and watch whatever's on TV.

At least he was well insulated when it comes to his death and funeral things. Enough money to cover that and some government stipends that we can dip into. Already had a plot paid for. We aren't doing a viewing or any real funeral type proceedings in a church. We're going to wait until the weather is nicer and have a barbecue in my sister's backyard as a celebration of life. I think he'd like that more than just fucking triangle sandwiches, cheese, and deli meat. He wasn't a pious man, and didn't stand on ceremony. No real reason to have his celebration in a church.
