Among other things, yeah. If you feel like things don't taste like you remember, it may not be faulty memory or rose-tinted nostalgia glasses, but rather an actual recipe change.

Capitalism was sold as a system where private entities would compete to drive progress, making improvements while at the same time reducing prices. Instead we've got 2-3 companies dominating each industry and the only competition we're getting is competing to increase prices. If one company increases prices, the other(s) follow suit. The only improvements are to profit margins, which is short-lived since the companies up the supply chain continually jack up prices so the companies that rely on them continue enshittification to expand profit margins again.
