Well that's because he's old as shit. Bernie has far more passion, but he's also been an activist for his whole life. But at the same time that's also why I'm team Gavin for 2028, because he's not afraid to attack Republicans and point out their hypocrisy, while also elevating the Democratic platform. People hate Gavin because he's corporate, but also ignore how liberal California has gotten since he took over, and how many amazing programs they've installed. He's not perfect, but he definitely has the fiery passion and charm to court voters while also sticking it to Republicans at every turn. Plus he's not afraid to confront them face to face, like having a debate on Fox against DeSantis. Who else from the party would have the balls to not just do that, but also completely school them in the process.

I will say Biden definitely was regarded as cool during the Obama Presidency, there were memes galore of them. That's why people wanted him to be Dark Brandon so much, to recapture that feeling he brought.

Biden, while being VP, felt like he actually mattered, unlike Kamala now, Pence before her, or even Cheney, though Cheney was basically the devil pulling the strings.

I'm just saying that young and less traditionally involved voters don't get the same level of engagement they may have been used to with the Obama and Sanders campaigns. To some extent, I think we've regressed as a society in that we so many voters seem to not be able stomach the though of a traditional "boring" president.

Funny enough, I thought Biden was more of a clutz when he was VP (in large part because that's what other people said of him too admittedly). I think his time serving as President have reflected that he can very competently do the job (also considering the precedent set immediately before him...)
