We've been on two dates and I did kiss her on the first date, I thought there could be some potential but after the second date I was having second thoughts. Kinda found out we don't have the same interests really and our communication styles are very different, she loves to constantly text and I hate it.

But after I told her that we maybe shouldn't see each other again she kinda went off on me. Saying I was just like the rest of them (other men) and that I walked all over her heart. Thing is, she never really asked me any questions on the dates so she doesn't know who I am or what I've been through, and I've tried to include that into the text.

Anyway, one of the last questions she asked me was "don't you want to be in a relationship?!

I appreciate you being honest and vulnerable with me, I've tried to be the same to you too. I wasn't originally planning on telling anyone that I hadn't been on a date in over 5 years. That's pretty embarrassing.

Yes, I would like to be in a relationship. Hell, I've never really been in one. But I think I'm learning that I don't need one so if it's not a super good fit I'm not going to try and push things. I'm attracted to you so down the line if things got physical it could get worse and cause way more damage to each of us and for sure break someone's heart, and that's not what I'm trying to do.
