That is what separates "genocide" from other types of killing in war. If someone drops a nuclear bomb tomorrow on a country that completely wipes out a certain group, we still wouldn't know whether it was genocide without knowing the intent.There's plenty of evidence that the intent is genocide. No one took the "I'm just doing my job" as an legitimate excuse in Nuremburg trials. Israel has to kill and starve Palestinian to get rid of Hamas is just wrong. I will not take that.
