Back in the late 90s- early 00s there would be what was called the 'Methadon Bus' where heroin addicts could get free methadon, which apearantly has a rush similair to heroin which would be given out freely. To aid you in the way things work here considering drugs, we were the first country in the world where smoking weed was not punishable, but even to this day, coffeeshops, the shops where weed is sold here, are not allowed to buy weed, nor are they allowed to have more than 5 plants themselves or have more than 500 grams in house (which is basically nothing for any half decent one). The idea behind it in the 1960s was to lower crime rates, but with the above, anyone with more than half a braincell could figure out this does nothing to stop illegal growing or selling of weed, so yeah, that's the Netherlands for you --- There is no need for gulags for those that consent to their own chains - Thomas Williams ...
