Topic	President Obama said the nuclear family is a good thing.

I wouldn't call is disdain necessarily, but there is a certain pocket on the "U.S. Left" that has an aversion to anything considered traditional becasue the right tends to champion anything traditional. I've experienced it myself on here. People dragging me simple becasue I live a firmly "normal" middle class life. Homeowner. Gen X, Straight. Married. 2 Kids. Apparently becasue of this I can't talk of the "Struggle" that Poor, LGBTQ, or Younger people go through. But on topic... I grew up in what I'd consider an extended family. Mom, Dad, Sister, Grandmother, Uncle, Aunt, 2 Cousins all in the same house.
