Two points are awarded for a correct pick in the ten technical categories: Best Production, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Film Editing, Best Hair & Makeup, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Sound, and Best Visual Effects. One point is awarded for a correct pick in the three short categories: Best Animated Short Film, Best Live Action Short, and Best Documentary Short Subject.
