I have 2 local sandwich places in my middle of nowhere south carolina town that completely blows jersery mike's, firehouse subs, jimmy john's, and especially subway completely out of the water in every single way (taste, sheer size, and most importantly price).

That sandwich is called the palmetto special...ham, turkey, salami, bologna, cappicola, pepperoni and cheese. I also added bacon to it, lol. Like 13 dollars, and its big enough to fill you up just eating half.

That one is a turkey, bacon and cheese grinder from a local Italian spot. I also added mushrooms to it. 11.37

Never hurts to take a look at doordash, grub hub, uber eats etc. not to actually use those services but to discover local restaurants that you did not know existed. There is a 99 percent chance a local sandwich shop is going to be better than any chain in sandwich size and price.
