Well, alright, I won't say that stuff doesn't matter to the book readers looking forward to seeing it on the screen, I'll just say I felt like they explained what was necessary for what occurred. Maybe Part 3 will be mostly geopolitical lore after Paul does what he's about to do. Yeah I think the new movie explained the minimum needed to experience the movie as was intended. It wasn't realistic to actually cover all of them book and so it wasn't attempted. Lynch tried to cover a lot more of the book and it fell apart quickly and then got a really bad ending.
