When I was young my dad moved me up there. Turns out you get a dividend just by being a citizen. They just give you money. The PFD is not that much, if anything it helps offset the insane cost of living there. Prices were outrageous when I left 16ish years ago, basically everything had to be imported. I can't even imagine what it costs to live there now. For yucks I checked out homes on Zilliw a couple years back and even the shittiest most crime ridden areas the houses started at 1/4 mil --- If anyone disparaged you the way you disparage yourself, I would wish to strike them with an axe ...
