Yeah, pretty much.

A friend of mine nearly drove herself to insanity in early 2022 when Ukraine and Russia were all the talk. She was so anxious that not only did she have to go to a hospital, but she started having visions of Russia bombing the US (think Sarah's nightmare from Terminator 2). At least that's what she told me.

Like...geeeez. I never asked her, but how much was she keeping up to date on Ukraine and Russia when it was all the talk back then? She must have been checking her phone like every minute and viewing every picture and video of the war. That shit can drive you to straight up insanity if you get too sucked into it. It's so easily accessible at the drop of a hat too.

Thankfully she's doing better now, but sometimes I'm still concerned about her since she almost lost her sanity. I hope she managed her news intake WAY better now. Maybe I'll ask how she's doing.
