This, together with a stronger recognition that crime and truth don't recognize gender. Men are statistically more likely to be violent than women, but that fact does little good if the person beating the shit out of you is a woman. There is also nothing about being a women that prevents you from lying, and the "believe all women" thing depends on you either believing that, or believing that because rape is such a serious issue, nobody will lie about it. Neither of these things are true.

Real equality demands equal justice and protection for all. A lesbian in an abusive relationship should be taken seriously, and so should a man who has been raped. Children abused by their mother or another female relative need just as much help as if it had been their father. People who destroy the lives of others with demonstrably false accusations--and this can as you pointed out, have a racist element--should suffer stiff penalties.

The reality that certain crimes differ based on gender might inform your suspicions, but it should be the reality of the facts that determine guilt.
