Cruz may want it, however he's like the most hated dude in Congress lol. Even Republicans dislike the guy, so him being party leader is the longest shot I can think of.

Now, some of the loyalists Mitch put in the judiciary are just as dangerous or more, but for different reasons.

No one in the legislature will be able to copy his success though.

What I'm concerned about is putting a Senatorial version of Speaker Johnson in there. Someone who refuses to let any business proceed should they regain the Senate can be just as disastrous as the things McCon was able to make happen.
