my only question is how come the cooks don't get tips? especially at delivery type places. it's kinda crazy how the people who do all of the work preparing the food usually make less than the wait staff or delivery drivers. Because they usually get paid an actual decent wage, at least in comparison. There are shitty places like Denny's/IHOP who will start them around $9, however at most restaurants it at least starts at $12 and at mine they start you at $16, which compared to servers in TX it's 2.13 + tips and if they don't make that within an hour then they get paid the difference up to $7.25, the minimum wage.
