Wouldn't bother going to a manager or anything that extreme 'cause there's no point and I'm not actively out for the person's job. And I'm sure any server obnoxious enough to pull that would be bitching loud enough for the rest of the night that the manager would find out anyway. The fastest way to lose your tip is to act like you're entitled to it. But if you just give me good service and are polite, I'm usually a pretty generous tipper. The system is fucking stupid, but that's not the server's fault.
